Mackerel with Summer Salad
Delicious smoked mackerel with summer salad


  • 2 Mackerel Fillets
  • Green Salad
  • 2 Tomatoes
  • Spring Onion/Scallions
  • Brown bread

Serves 3-4


  1. Leave the smoked mackerel at room temperature for 20 minutes. This will allow the flavour of the fish to develop.
  2. Use a little olive oil so the salad leaves stick to the bread then cover with green salad.
  3. Add flakes of the mackerel and some pieces of onion to the sandwich.
  4. Salt and pepper to taste.
